The 3 PM Project Proposal
This is a project of the 7th grade students which will provide occupational opportunity
in learning about working and doing business in a real situation.
Objectives:
- To practice starting and doing business.
- To practice working together in a group.
- To raise funds for the science experiment lab.
Details:
This shop is called the “3 PM Snacks and Beverages”.
We started on the first of June this year. The first day was a free trial. Our shop is located at the small Sala next to the Library. The shop opens at 2:45 PM until 4:00 PM every Monday and Friday.
There will be 2 students from grade 7 responsible for the shop on Monday and 2 more from Upper Elementary on Friday.
The first investment money will be 5,000 Baht. It was used for buying stuff for starting the shop such as table, chairs, glasses, jug, etc.
This money was borrowed from the school and it will be paid back to the school later. The customers need coupons to buy things. The coupons can be purchased at the office. There will be one student responsible for gathering the coupons and doing the accounts.
The drinks and snacks are clean, fresh, and nutritious. The menu is as follows:

- Donuts
- Butter Cake
- Brownies
- Waffles / Pancakes
- Vegetable
- Fruit Cup

This project will last for 1 year then it will be summarized and assessed by everyone.

3PM Report
We have been running our shop since June 4th this year,
since then we have already sold 27 times.
This is our menu:

Our three best sellers for snacks and drinks are:

Although this is a Junior High school project, we also get help from the Upper Elementary students. Here are the names of all the staff.

But it has not been easy for us because we got comments from customers such as some drinks were too sweet, and some items were too expensive. So we decreased the sugar in the drinks, but we could not lower the prices because our expenses are high. Another reason was that we would like to use the profit for setting up a science lab.
These are all the amount of money that we use and get.
Sales = 29,687 Baht
Expenses = 20,686 Baht
Profit = 9,001 Baht
