โรงเรียนปิติศึกษาได้จัดกิจกรรมวันฮัลโลวีนขึ้นในวันศุกร์ที่ 31 ตุลาคม2551 ขอความกรุณาท่านอนุญาตให้บุตรหลานเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมดังกล่าวโดยการแต่งกายในชุดแฟนซี กิจกรรมนี้เป็นกิจกรรมที่เปิดโอกาสให้นักเรียนมีประสบการณ์เกี่ยวกับวัฒนธรรมสำหรับเด็กๆ ในประเทศแถบเอมริกาเหนือและยุโรปบางส่วน ซึ่งนักเรียนจะได้เรียนรู้ประวัติศาสตร์และวัฒนธรรมจากต่างประเทศอีกด้วย เด็กๆจะเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมวันฮัลโลวีน เช่น การเล่นเกม การทำงานศิลปะ และการแกะสลัก ซึ่งโรงเรียนจะจัดเตรียมฟักทองสำหรับทุกห้องเรียนเพื่อแกะสลักและขนมของว่างสำหรับเกม “Trick or Treat”ในเช้าวันศุกร์ซึ่งเด็กๆ จะรู้สึกดีใจมากที่จะได้รับขนมหรือของว่างจากการร่วมเล่นเกมดังกล่าว ผู้ปกครองสามารถมีส่วนร่วมในกิจกรรมโดยจัดเตรียมขนมหรืออาหารว่าง (ผลไม้หรือขนมที่ไม่มีรสหวานจัด) ให้บุตรหลานของท่านมาร่วมเล่นเกม “Trick or Treat”

Dear Parents,
On Friday, October 31st Piti Suksa will be celebrating Halloween! Please put together a costume for your child to wear. Celebrating Halloween will provide the students with an opportunity to experience a much loved children’s cultural event from North American and parts of Europe. As well as learning a little bit about the history and culture from other countries, the kids will have a lot of fun engaging in some Halloween games, arts and crafts. The school will be buying some pumpkins for the students to carve as well as some candies and treats for Friday morning’s trick or treating. The kids will always appreciate a few more sweets, so if you like, feel free to pick up or prepare a few small items (fruit & healthy snacks would be great) for the kids to give out!

OCTOBER 31ST – PITI SUKSA
History of Halloween:
Halloween has its origins in the ancient Celtic festival known as Samhain (Irish pronunciation: [ˈsˠaunʲ]; The festival of Samhain is a celebration of the end of the harvest season in Gaelic culture, and is sometimes regarded as the "Celtic New Year". Traditionally, the festival was a time used by the ancient pagans to take stock of supplies and slaughter livestock for winter stores. The ancient Gaels believed that on October 31, now known as Halloween, the boundary between the alive and the deceased dissolved, and the dead become dangerous for the living by causing problems such as sickness or damaged crops. The festivals would frequently involve bonfires, into which bones of slaughtered livestock were thrown. Costumes and masks were also worn at the festivals in an attempt to mimic the evil spirits or placate them. The main event for children of modern Halloween in the United States and Canada is trick-or-treating, in which children disguise themselves in costumes and go door-to-door in their neighborhoods, ringing each doorbell and yelling "trick or treat!" to solicit a gift of candy or similar items

สวัสดีค่ะ
นับจากนี้ไปเราเหลือเวลาอีกเพียง 1 สัปดาห์เท่านั้น ก็จะปิดภาคการศึกษาภาคเรียนที่ 1 แล้ว ดิฉันขอขอบพระคุณผู้ปกครองทุกท่าน รวมถึงคณะอนุกรรมการ ที่มีส่วนร่วมกับกิจกรรมที่ทางโรงเรียนจัดขึ้นอย่างดียิ่งเสมอมาทุกกิจกรรม ขอขอบพระคุณคณะครูและเจ้าหน้าที่ทุกท่านที่ตั้งใจทำงาน และร่วมกันดูแลเด็กๆ เป็นอย่างดี ขอขอบพระคุณคณะกรรมการบริหารโรงเรียนทุกท่าน ที่ได้อุทิศเวลาอันมีค่าเพื่อโรงเรียนที่อบอุ่นแห่งนี้
ดิฉันขออนุญาตบอกกล่าวกิจกรรมโรงเรียนที่เกิดขึ้น และกำลังจะดำเนินต่อไปในภาคการศึกษาหน้า ดังนี้ค่ะ
คณะกรรมการบริหาร
ในปีการศึกษา 2551 นี้ ทางโรงเรียนมีคณะกรรมการชุดใหม่ 3 ท่าน คือ คุณเอ๋, คุณแหน, และครูเจ และได้แบ่งคณะอนุกรรมการออกเป็น 4 ฝ่าย เพื่อร่วมดูแลใน 4 เรื่องด้วยกันก็คือ
1)คณะอนุกรรมการฝ่ายการศึกษา
2)คณะอนุกรรมการฝ่ายการเงินและจัดหาทุน
3)คณะอนุกรรมการฝ่ายสื่อสารและประชาสัมพันธ์
4)คณะอนุกรรมการฝ่ายสิ่งแวดล้อมและความปลอดภัย
คณะครู
ในช่วงต้นปีการศึกษาที่ผ่านมาเรามีครูชาวต่างชาติเข้ามาเพิ่มอีก 2 คน คือ ครู แดช และ ครุ เคส และมีครูไทยเพิ่มเข้ามาอีก 3 คน ครูอ้อย ครูจี และครูข้าว ในเทอมนี้มีครูลาออก 2 คน คือ ครูแป้ง-ซึ่งเป็นครูผู้ช่วยในชั้นเรียนของครูยูลิยา ได้แจ้งลาออกเพื่อเดินทางไปศึกษาต่อ ณ ประเทศออสเตรเลีย เมื่อเดือนสิงหาคมที่ผ่านมา และครูแน็ท-ครูคู่สอนในระดับชั้นประถมศึกษาตอนปลาย ได้แจ้งลาออกและจะมีผลในสิ้นภาคเรียนที่ 1 เพราะสอบบรรจุได้เป็นครูที่โรงเรียนเทศบาล 6
ในภาคเรียนที่สองที่จะมาถึงนี้ เราจะได้ครูเล็ก(กฤตธดา สินธุฉัตร) มาเป็นครูคู่สอนคนใหม่ในระดับชั้นประถมศึกษาตอนปลายครูเล็กจบการศึกษาปริญญาตรีมาจากมหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ และจบด้านกราฟฟิกดีไซน์ จาก Columbus State Community College, OH, USA.
หลักสูตรการศึกษา
ในปีการศึกษานี้ โรงเรียนได้จัดโปรแกรมกาเรียนดังนี้ ระดับอนุบาลแบ่งออกเป็น 2 ห้องเรียน, ระดับประถมศึกษาตอนต้น 2 ห้องเรียน, ประถมศึกษาตอนปลาย 1 ห้องเรียน, มัธยมศึกษาตอนต้น 1 ห้องเรียน, และห้องเรียนเด็กพิเศษอีก 1 ห้องเรียน
โรงเรียนฯ ขอแจ้งให้ทราบว่า โรงเรียนฯ ได้รับอนุญาตให้เปิดสอนในระดับมัธยมเป็นที่เรียบร้อยแล้ว แต่เนื่องด้วยระดับมัธยมยังเป็นหลักสูตรที่เพิ่งเปิดขึ้นใหม่ เราจึงยินดีหากผู้ปกครองท่านใดจะมีข้อเสนอแนะ หรืออาสาเข้าช่วยกันพัฒนาหลักสูตร สำหรับในระดับชั้นมัธยมศึกษานี้ จดทะเบียนเป็นหลักสูตรไทย แต่ก็ยังคงให้ความสำคัญกับภาษาอังกฤษ โดยจัดกิจกรรมการเรียน และกิจกรรมเสริมหลายวิชาเป็นภาษาอังกฤษ สำหรับคณะครูนั้น เรามีครูปูนำเป็นครูสอนวิชาภาษาอังกฤษ, ครูบอยสอนในรายวิชาคณิตศาสตร์และวิทยาศาสตร์, ครูเจสอนในรายวิชาภาษาไทย สังคมศึกษา และการงานอาชีพ,ครูคังสอนในรายวิชาพละศึกษาและสุขศึกษา,ครูเคสสอนในรายวิชาภาษาอังกฤษเป็นภาษาที่สอง หรือ ESL นอกจากนี้แล้ว โรงเรียนยังมีหลักสูตรเสริมทักษะทางด้านดนตรี ศิลปะ และวิชาภาษาจีนในระดับชั้นนี้ด้วย
การปิดภาคเรียนที่ 1 สำหรับนักเรียนจะเริ่มตั้งแต่วันที่ 4-26 ตุลาคม แต่สำหรับครูนั้นจะหยุดระหว่างวันที่ 4-19 ตุลาคม เพื่อที่จะกลับมาเตรียมห้องเรียนและสื่อการสอนในภาคเรียนที่สอง

Dear Parents,
There is only one week left before our 1st semester break. I would like to thank all the parents for their cooperation with the school activities and a special thanks to those parents who have served as the sub-committee members. I appreciated how well the teachers & staff have taken good care of the students. I would also like to thank the school board members who have devoted their time to the school.
Here is a short summary of what took place during the first semester.
Board Members:
This year we have 3 new board members, Khun Ae, Khun Hnae and Kroo Jay. Four sub-committees are; 1) Education Subcommittee, 2) Financing and Fund Raising Subcommittee, 3) Parents Relations and Communications Subcommittee, 4) Safety and Environment Subcommittee.
Teachers:
We had 2 new expat. teachers and 3 new Thai teachers join us at the beginning of the school year.
Kroo Pang, assistant teacher in Kroo Yuliya’s class left at the end of August to further her studies in Australia. Kroo Nat, co-teacher in upper elementary is leaving at the end of this semester, she will be teaching in Tessaban 6.
In the second semester, we will have Kroo Lek (Ms. Krittada Sinthuchat) will be the new co-teacher in upper elementary. She received her BA from Chiang Mai University and also studied Graphic Design at Columbus State Community College, OH, USA.
Programs:
This school year, we have two kindergarten classes, two lower elementary classes, one upper elementary class, one junior high class and one special education needs class.
We have already received the official approval for our junior high school program. This program is still very new in our school and we would like to invite the parents to join us to help develop this program. This program is registered as a Thai program. However, school still provides many of the subjects and activities in English. We have Kroo Poonam teaches English; Kroo Boy teaches Math and Science; Kroo Jay teaches Thai; Thai Culture and Career & Technology; Kroo Khung teaches PE and Health Education; Kroo Kees teaches ESL. We also provide Art, Music and Chinese for students in this program.
The October vacation will be from October 4-26, 2008 for students but the teachers will take only two weeks of vacation from October 4th-19th. They will be back to preparing the classrooms to be ready for the second semester.

We wish to inform the parents that Kroo Harry has taken leave to return home due to his mother passing away. On behalf of all the teachers, staff, parents and students of Piti Suksa we wish to send our sincerest sympathies to Kroo Harry and his family. Kroo Kees and some of the other teachers will assist Kroo Kao in Kroo Harry’s Lower Elementary class until he returns

Classroom Observation will take place during the mornings of the 8th through to the 19th of September, schedules have been posted outside each class for parents to sign their name and the time that they wish to visit.
Kroo Kar has taken her maternity leave from the 8th of September until the 17th of November.
The Parents and Teachers Conference will be from the 29th of September until the 2nd of October.

On friday the 11th of July the Junior High School students will visit the library at Mae Fah Luang University. They will be shown how books are organized in a library also do research for their Cosmic Education class.

Today is the start of our Thai Culture week and the students will be learning about the culture, customs, traditions and way of life in the four regions of Thailand. On Monday they will learn about Shadow plays (Nang-dta-lung) from southern Thailand, on Tuesday will be about traditional northern style dancing together with drumming and a Lanna story (Fon paak nua), they will learn on Wedensday how to prepare "fruit in syrup" (Pon-la-mai loi gaew) and how to wear a loin-cloth (Jong gra-ben) both from the central provinces and Thursday is about the traditional Isaan show called Pong-lang so named after the local style xylophone with drums and girls dancing in Isaan costume.

Our students (Ing Ing, Por, and Poom) joined The Chiang Rai Youth Orchestra performance for the Teacher’s Day Ceremony at Rachapat University on January 16th.

On Teacher’s Day Kroo Oi received the Outstanding Administrators Award from The Private School Association. The awards ceremony was held at Rachapat University on the 16th of January 2008.

ึี่Piti Suksa School was given an assessment by Ajarn Tharanis Pechsakda and Ajarn Karakoj Itthiyos from The Office for National Education Standards and Quality Assessment from January 7-9, 2008. In their evaluation they reported that Piti Suksa School meets the standards set out by ONESQA.

สำนักงานรับรองมาตรฐานและประเมินคุณภาพการศึกษา โดยอาจารย์ธรนิศ เพชรศักดา และอาจารย์กรกฎ อิทธิยศ ได้มาประเมินคุณภาพการศึกษา ณ โรงเรียนปิติศึกษา ในระหว่างวันที่ 7-9 มกราคม 2551 และได้รายงานผลอย่างไม่เป็นทางการว่าโรงเรียนสมควรได้รับการรับรองมาตรฐานการศึกษา

Dear Parents,
First of all, I would like to thank all the students, parents and staff for the joyful and productive activities at our Loy Krathong Night Party.
I would like to inform that Kroo Sahamitra Ta-on (Kroo Nueng), the upper elementary Thai language teacher, has left the school. He got a teaching job at Tessaban 7 School and we have Mr. Wiphu Chairit (Kroo J) to replace Kroo Nueng. Kroo J holds a bachelor degree of art in Thai Languange and Literature from Prince Songkhla Nakarin University and master degree of art in Asian Education, from Chiang Mai University. He experienced working at Tan Panya, Bangkok.
We also have Ms. Poonam Balani from India who will be teaching English and Culture Science to the students in Junior High level. She used to teach at Monfort College, Chiang Mai for 4 years.
We would like to inform our school activities in December as follow:
December 4, 2007 Family Sports Day
In the morning, the elementary students will parade from Ban Mai Market to the school. Kindergarten students will be waiting at the car park. On arriving at the school, both the elementary and kindergarten students will march to the sports field. We have prepared games and activities for students of all levels. The parents of elementary students please bring your child to Ban Mai Market. The teachers will be there to meet them. While parading, the children will also hold posters promoting the election on December 23, 2007. The posters are a reminder to Thai citizens to use their rights for voting on December 23, 2007.

ก่อนที่จะแจ้งข่าวสารอื่นๆ โรงเรียนจะต้องขอขอบคุณผู้ปกครอง คณะครู บุคลากร และเด็กๆที่ได้ร่วมแรงร่วมใจ จัดงานคืนวันลอยกระทง ที่ 23 พฤศจิกายน ที่ผ่านมา โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งผลงานการแสดงของเด็กๆ ที่สร้างรอยยิ้มและความปีติสุขแก่ชุมชนของเรา
โรงเรียนของแจ้งให้ผู้ปกครองทุกคนทราบว่า ครูสหมิตร ตาอ้อน (ครูหนึ่ง) ครูวิชาภาษาไทยระดับประถมปลาย ได้ลาออกไปทำงานที่โรงเรียนเทศบาล 7 และเรามีครูวิภู ชัยฤทธิ์ (ครูเจ) มาเป็นครูสอนภาษาไทยระดับประถมปลายและมัธยม ครูวิภู จบการศึกษาศิลปศาสตร์บัณฑิต สาขา ภาษาและวรรณคดีไทย จากมหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ วิทยาเขตปัตตานี และปริญญาโท สาขาเอเชียศึกษา จากมหาวิทยลัยเชียงใหม่
เคยเป็นครูสอนภาษาไทยที่โรงเรียนฐานปัญญา กรุงเทพมหานคร ก่อนที่จะย้ายมาอยู่เชียงใหม่
และเรายังมีครูปูนำ บัลลานี จากอินเดียมาสอนภาษาอังกฤษ ระดับมัธยม ครูปูนำ บัลลานี มีประสบการณ์เป็นครูสอนภาษาอังกฤษที่โรงเรียนมงฟอร์ตวิทยาลัย เป็นเวลา 4 ปี ก่อนที่จะหมดสัญญา

ในตอนเช้า นักเรียนประถมจะเดินพาเหรดจากจากตลาดบ้านใหม่และมาสมทบกับนักเรียนอนุบาลที่ลานจอดรถและเดินเข้าสู่บริเวณสนามกีฬา ขอความกรุณาผู้ปกครองนักเรียนชั้นประถมส่งนักเรียน ณ ตลาดบ้านใหม่ คณะครูจะรออยู่ที่บริเวณตลาดบ้านใหม่ ขบวนพาเหรดจะถือป้ายรณรงค์ให้ผู้ใหญ่ไปใช้สิทธิเลือกตั้ง ซึ่งจะมีขึ้นในวันที่ 23 ธันวาคม 2550 นี้

Montessori materials arrive from the " Eerste Montessorischool Houten" in the Netherlands.

The " Eerste Montessorischool Houten" in the Netherlands (where Kroo Anne taught previously) is supporting the Piti Suksa Montessori School in Chiang Rai by offering Montessori materials, such as sensorial materials (for example colored cylinders) and math materials (the Southend chain in Golden beads). They where prepared to send other materials and language materials too, but unfortunately everything they could offer was in Dutch. The Principal Teja Kenbeek hopes the children will enjoy learning with the materials she has given to the school. The Dutch school was happy to accept Piti Suksa's offer to pay for the shipping costs. Piti Suksa is hoping to receive the materials soon and is very grateful for their generous support.

Dear Parents, It is almost a month after school has opened for the second semester. We had the first parent meeting on November 1, 2007 to introduce our teachers and the teachers have also informed the activities and lessons they are going to provide in the 2nd semester. I have reminded the parents about our Piti Suksa School, Classroom teachers, English in our school, where students can go after finishing from Piti Suksa and the Communication. I would like to update the school calendar in November as follows:
November 19, 2007 is the due date to return the survey sheet about continuity of studying at Piti Suksa for Academic year 2008-2009. This is a regular investigation that the school does in the second semester. The information is very important for us to make our classroom and budgeting plan.
November 23, 2007 Students will make Krathong in the morning and prepare for their performances in the afternoon. Upper Elementary and Junior High School Students have a trip to Mae Fah Luang University for their ceramic class. Loy Krathong Night party will start at 18.00, the schedule will be forwarded to you on Monday.
November 26, 2007 15.00 – 16.00 Meeting with Kindergarten 3 parents for the Promotion of Kindergarten 3 students to Grade 1.
November 27, 2007 15.00 – 16.00 Meeting with Grade 3 parents for the Promotion of Grade 3 students to Grade 4.

The test will be in Thai and the teachers will help prepare the students. The exercise will be sent home for students to practice and it is a good time for you, the parents to spend your value time with your child by observing him/her do his/her homework.
School Assessment:
There will be the school assessment by the Office of National Education Standard and Quality. They are scheduled to assess our school during November 26, 2007 – January 24, 2008. The exact date will be announced soon.
I would like to thank Dentist Machulee Sinthuchat who donated 3000 baht to the library , Dr. Suthee Wattanasiriwet for the ceramic lessons and Khun Ravi Upara for the computer and computer lessons for Upper Elementary and Junior High School students. The parent’s contribution and support are welcome and appreciated. (9 November 2007) The Piti Suksa School Sports Day will be on the 4th of December, we welcome all the parents to be there regardless of your athletic abilities (or lack there of!). The school looks forward to working together with the recently formed Friends of Chiang Rai Pitisuksa to help with organising the event and inventing some fun and interesting activities for all age groups.
(5 October 2007) Congratulations! Kroo Nita finished her theory part for the Elementary (6-12years) Montessori Training. Auntie Bui from Upper Elementary and Nita attended the workshop on Math and Language at Brisbane Montessori School, Australia during September 22-29, 2007.
(4 October 2007) Piti Suksa School has been recognized by Lady Doctor Kasama Worawan, the Secretariat of Office of The Basic Education Commission. Our Piti Suksa School has been selected to be one of 29 out of 200 schools to present about Montessori Education in Thai School System during the seminar on The Development of Transformational Leaders for Educational Decentralization, organized by the Ministry of Education at Ambassador Hotel from Sep 27-29, 2007.
(28 September 2007) Dear parents, for our second fieldtrip of this term we have chosen to go to Doi Khao Kwai to look at the view of Chiang Rai. Afterwards we will take a short hike down hill to Kroo Anthony’s house. There we will play some games with the children and enjoy our lunch. The trip was to have been on Thursday but was canceled due to the rain, and is now planned for Tuesday the 2nd of October, 2007 from 09.00 - 02.00 p.m. Kroo Harry and Kroo Anthony, the Lower Elementary lead teachers will be the group leaders with 3 other teachers to look after the 35 students during the trip. Please make sure your children are wearing clothes that are allowed to get dirty and shoes that are comfortable for walking. We will be back in school for the afternoon. (24 September 2007) All parents are asked to sign up for the Parent-Teacher Conference taking place from the 1st until the 4th of October, schedules for each class will be pasted in front of each classroom.
